S60 Slitter Rewinder
Machines are designed to run laminates such as vinyl that is backed or unbacked, dry transfer foils and decorative papers for the profile wrappers that we make at Voorwood. Some materials are more difficult to run than others. The S60 comes with features that are not available on the 6215. The S60 is wider (up to 72 inches), carries more weight on the unwind (750 lbs.) and rewind shafts (375 lbs. per shaft), comes standard with razor slitting (rotary shear and rotary score are optional), 24 inch unwind and rewinds, and automatic edge guiding. Actually the S60 has been fitted with special counters, rewind gates, air expanding rewinding shafts in different sizes, and shaft less chucking to speed up the rewinding process. We can help with many converting needs and would be glad to discuss materials other than the above mentioned. We have worked with packaging, label stocks, di-electric papers, polyester, vellums, polypropylene, blue print papers, and other non-extensible films.
