Model A1515-CNC Shaper-SanderIs fully equipped to automatically position all necessary adjustments for each profile setup. Voorwood’s new A1515-CNC is also equipped with an automatic tool changer for each shaping and sanding station. Using stacked tooling spindles, each station can access up to 15 tools plus remember up to 100 patterns. Capable of shaping and sanding arch profiles on cabinet door components without pre-contouring, the machine can also do straight cuts. The A1515-CNC “Design Center” program allows the operator to create custom arches. As boards are loaded into the machine, the width is automatically measured and the programmed arch is rescaled to match the distance. Panel measurements can also be entered manually, allowing the arch to be rescaled to any width.
Model A515-CNC Shaper-SanderCNC Arch Shaper Sander A515 profiles and sands in one pass, a variety of preprogrammed arch raised panel contours or straight edges starting with a rectangular piece of wood. No precutting of the arch contour required! The stock is transported through the machine by a feed chain with special pads and hold down rollers that grip the wood securely while it passes two shaping and two counter rotating sanding stations. Digital readouts are installed on all-important adjustments, ensuring repeatable pattern setups.
Model A517CNC Shaper-SanderThe A517-CNC feed through arch machine, is capable of shaping and sanding arch profiles on cabinet door components without pre-contouring. The A517 can accommodate up to seven shaping/sanding stations. Equipped with a ‘design center’ program, the 517-CNC allows the operator to create custom arches and straight cuts. The A517 can be equipped with (optional) Auto Position Indication (API), which allows the PLC to monitor the axis position and will not allow the feed chain to be turned on until all axis positions are manually moved to the desired location for safe operation of the profile to be run. However, the horizontal axis for both shapers is servo controlled for cutting contours (arches). Position readouts are accurate within .005 inches.
Model A525 Arch Shaper-SanderProfiles and sands straight or pre-cut contoured raised panel wood parts in one pass. Stock is transported from the 90º edge guide by a feed chain with special pads and hold down rollers that grip the wood securely while it passes two shaping and two counter rotating floating sanding stations. Digital readouts are installed on all adjustment points needed to insure repeatable pattern setups.
