Our Mission
Our mission at Voorwood continues to be the design, manufacture and sale of labor saving machinery for the wood products industry, priced reasonably and built with functional simplicity to a consistent high quality standard.
Company Profile
Voorwood Company has been producing quality machinery for the wood products industry for more than 42 years. Ted and Jerry Voorhees, our founders, had an extensive background in wood products manufacturing. They owned and operated molding and millwork plants before beginning to build machinery on a commercial scale in 1961. This is why they knew firsthand the need for reliable, precision built machinery. This is the experience that Voorwood employees continue to build on to this day. There is no substitute for this experience as a basis for equipment design.
