A217 Double Sided Shaper Sander

Profiles and sands both edges of a hard/soft wood part in one pass. Stock is transported through the machine by a bottom feed chain with a friction surface and selectable pop-up lugs to provide precision squaring and sizing. The first shaper on each side jumps in/out to eliminate cross grain tear out. With digital readouts and MicroPoint tilt at the workstations and digital readout and automatic width adjustment, this machine is designed for fast set-up and repeatable tool change between profiles. Balanced lift up doors cover the machining stations and provides safety, sound deadening and contemporary styling.
